not much to say but that we just moved... out of our first home. this is one of those times when change is exciting and difficult all at the same time.

it's hard to let go of things.

weird wednesday

it's beyond time for an update i know. but here is all i got for now.

went to register the kids for pdo at st. lukes. it started at 8:30am so i got there at 8:30. i waited in line until 10:00. the line was forever long. there were moms that got there at 7:30 to be the first in line. psycho. i wonder if anyone will be camping out next year...

took sarah to her grandparents house. nothing exciting there.

went to work. was in a meeting with geoff when our secretary needed to know my hours. she said it was for some kind of youth position that was opening. what???? i was a little freaked out. it turned out only to be a guy who wanted to talk to me about getting his granddaughter involved in jr high youth.

went back to grandparents to pick sarah up. her "grandmommy" tried to give her a piece of bread (which she's way too young for) behind my back. why????

went to pick up isaiah from pdo. came to the realization that the other moms of his classmates are in some kind of unspoken competition with each other (like who can give the most, and cutest valentines). it's ridiculous. i don't want to be that kind of mom.

went to church to eat before youth. food was pretty good.

youth was pretty good too.

went home and found that my michael had gathered his parents help to install a new kitchen sink and faucet. this new kitchen sink and faucet were birthday presents, which we got back in august. i'm grateful.

that was my day yesterday. wednesdays always seem to be strange for me.

wow. that's all i can say about my Christmas. it was the best yet... God is really just too good to me.

and so... on this last day of 2005, i would like to just say "thanks, Jesus!!"

it is my prayer that God will continue to move in mighty ways... in my life... in this town... in this nation... in this world.

amen?
